Seed material is usually sold in the form of dragees coated with a disinfectant solution. Therefore, the seeds do not require additional preparation. At the same time, flower growers noticed that if the shell is slightly disturbed before sowing – scarified – seedlings will appear faster.

It is imperative to illuminate flower seedlings. On a cloudy day, the lamp should be on from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. If the day is sunny, then the lamp can be turned on from 6 to 9 am and from 15 to 18 pm.

Setting the stage

First you need to warm up the soil in the garden bed well:

• Remove the top layer from the bed.
• Preheat to +21…+23 ℃.
• Place it on the bed again.

The thickness of the heated soil layer should be 2 cm.

Before planting, the soil is loosened, leveled, plant debris is removed, and weeds are removed.

Covering the plantings

Seeds can be sown directly on the surface. Leave a distance of 10 cm between the seeds. After sowing the seeds, the bed needs to be covered with film, building some kind of greenhouse.

Eustoma seeds can germinate for quite a long time – it all depends on their freshness. The plants will be barely noticeable on the surface of the earth – they are so tiny and delicate.

From this moment until picking, they need to be ventilated and watered very carefully; additional lighting will not hurt either.

• They grow very slowly for the first 3 months, but then they actively begin to grow green mass.
• As soon as 2–4 adult leaves have formed, the plants can be picked into separate cups.
